An Accidental Canvas
How a random delivery bag brought my creativity back

Creativity rarely shows up when you summon it.
It arrives when you least expect it. 😶🌫️
It was one of those dull days.
Creatively dry. Headache included.
The kind where even ideas feel tired.
Somewhere between all of this, I ended up ordering a couple of things for the house from Instamart. Nothing special. Just one of those routine things.
And Then, Something Shifted
When the bag arrived, so did something else.
My inner child. 🫂
Loud and ready.
Before I could even think twice, I was doodling all over it.
Ironically, I’ve been planning (and honestly, over-planning) to get back to painting for months
What I Realised
Somewhere between the doodles, it hit me.
Creativity doesn’t like being interrogated.
Or micromanaged.
The moment you try to control it, it disappears.
But leave it alone… and suddenly, it shows up, asking for your attention. 🌝
Back to the Mess (and Magic)
I rushed to my room, dug into a dusty corner, found my favourite Ohuhu paint markers, and just let myself be.
An hour passed.
Paintfully.
What came out was raw, a little messy, completely unplanned - and exactly what I needed.
And somehow, that one unplanned hour ended up fuelling my creativity for the whole month.
Try This
If you’ve read till here, try this:
Pick up a pen, a crayon, anything.
Grab any random piece of paper.
No plan. No time limit. No pressure.
Just start.
You’ll be surprised
how quickly the stress fades… and something lighter takes its place.
PS: Zoom in for the details. There are plenty. 👀
Happy doodling! 🧿💖🤗
